Graphic Design for The Oklahomans has begun

John has completed the manuscript, and graphic design has begun on Volume 1 (Ancient-Statehood) of his new Oklahoma history The Oklahomans: The Story of Oklahoma and Its People. After a decade of work, The Oklahomans will release this coming spring. The adjacent illustration, Dugout Soddy on the Prairie, by the amazing Wayne Cooper, provides a taste of the quality of illustrations that The Oklahomans will feature. Also in October, John delivered his "Uncivil War in Indian Territory" talk to an enthusiastic Oklahoma City Civil War Round Table gathering.
