Oklahoma City's KWTV Channel 9, the giant of Oklahoma television, features John on its popular "Red Dirt Diaries" news program. KWTV news anchor Karl Torp and Channel 9's camera show you what John's decade-long work on Vol. 1 of The Oklahomans looked like as he hunts for valuable historical documents at the Oklahoma History Center's enormous archival complex.
