Renowned Oklahoma Artist Joins John Saturday in Durant

Acclaimed artist and Oklahoma native Neal Taylor, whose paintings grace the front cover, back cover, and many pages within Vol. 1 of "The Oklahomans," joins John for a free public event at the library in Neal's hometown of Durant this Saturday. From 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., many of Neal's finest works will be on display, as well as prints for sale, and John will be signing books. At 11 a.m., John will deliver a rousing talk on Oklahoma History, featuring jumbo images of many "Oklahomans" book photos, paintings, and maps.
