The Oklahomans Vol 2:
Heroes & Sacrifice

No Oklahoma History book excels Oklahomans 2 for forthrightly, even painfully, sharing the tough, sometimes embarrassing, occasionally regret-laced threads of the state’s history. But whereas most chronicles of such debacles as the Tulsa Race War, Great Depression, Dust Bowl, 1980s Oil Bust or scandals such as the State Supreme Court, corrupt Governors, or County Commissioners often provide little silver lining to their difficult recountings, Oklahomans 2 mines a cavalcade of selfless heroes from the state’s hardest times that will spur the most jaded, forlorn reader to regain some lost hope and pride and maybe even renew their own efforts at being a force for good in the face of evil.
