Living History — John with 1940s Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Survivors


John stands amidst living history after speaking to a packed Edmond (OK) Republican Women's Club gathering. Joy Crouch (L) lost several close family members in the 1945 Antlers, OK tornado, which killed 68 and injured 343 in a town of 2,500. Eileen Smith survived the 1947 Woodward, OK tornado, which killed 107 and injured nearly 1,000 in a town of 5,000.
