These included Nebraska (1976, 1980, 1984, 1986), Texas (1975), Missouri (1975), and Oklahoma State (1983). Perhaps the most memorable climaxed with Uwe Von Schamann’s 41-yard field goal that defeated Coach Woody Hayes’ Ohio State team 29-28 in a nationally-televised battle of top-ranked powerhouses.
